This rule identifies two distinct security threats on Windows systems: the execution or presence of files matching a known malicious SHA256 hash list, and modifications to the 'PromptOnSecureDesktop' registry key, which could indicate an attempt to weaken User Account Control (UAC) protections.

Detects a potential ClickFix social engineering attack pattern where a user manually launches a script interpreter (e.g., PowerShell, cmd, mshta) from Windows Explorer followed within 30 minutes by the execution of 'rnpkeys.exe', a known indicator in installer side-load chains.

This rule detects potential command and control or malicious file staging activity by correlating DNS TXT record queries (often used for data exfiltration or staging configuration) performed by common system utilities (nslookup, PowerShell) with the subsequent execution of files from suspicious directories (Downloads, Temp) within a 30-minute window on the same device.

Detects a suspicious behavior pattern where PowerShell initiates an 'msiexec.exe' process to install an MSI file located in a temporary directory, followed by that MSI process launching a secondary executable from a '%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\' folder. This pattern is commonly associated with malware installation or post-exploitation activities where an attacker attempts to masquerade an executable as a legitimate program.

This rule monitors network, file, and process telemetry for matches against a predefined list of malicious IP addresses, domain names, and file hashes. It flags suspicious network connections to known C2 infrastructure and the presence or execution of known malicious files based on SHA256 and SHA1 indicators.

Detects SectopRAT (Arechclient2) .NET RAT binaries deployed via tampered libcef.dll / JetBrains helper DLL sideloading that harvest browser credentials, cookies, credit card data, and files. Tightened to require combined sideload+family+target indicators plus .NET CLR import evidence, avoiding standalone generic strings.

Hunts telemetry for published NeedyMantis indicators: three known SHA-256 hashes (WinSparkle.dll first-stage loader and its encrypted archive, plus the older libcurl archive), the C2 domain corp.tripswithengine[.]com, and the C2 URL path /library/zip/ on that domain. Domain/URL matching parses the actual host out of RemoteUrl and requires an EXACT match (not substring 'has/contains'), so a different domain that merely contains 'corp.tripswithengine.com' as a suffix of a longer label (e.g. 'notcorp.tripswithengine.com') or as a prefix of an unrelated domain (e.g. 'corp.tripswithengine.com.evil.net') cannot match. No malicious IP address has been published for this campaign, so IP-based matching is intentionally not included.

Sweeps DeviceFileEvents, DeviceProcessEvents, and DeviceNetworkEvents over a rolling 30-day window for known RevStealer indicators: exact SHA-256 matches against all 13 published file hashes, and exact-host matches (via parsed URL host, not substring) against the confirmed C2 domain meta7.archscreen68.one. An empty, extensible IP list is included for when a malicious IP is published.

Detects the presence of an embedded word-to-hex lookup table within a PE file. This technique is used by the Lorem Ipsum Loader to store shellcode as plaintext English words to evade entropy-based detection and static analysis tools. The rule matches a dense sequence of lowercase words frequently found in these malicious loaders.
