Detects restricted access to applications by the Software Restriction Policies (SRP) policy
Csi.exe is a signed binary from Microsoft that comes with Visual Studio and provides C# interactive capabilities. It can be used to run C# code from a file passed as a parameter in command line. Early version of this utility provided with Microsoft “Roslyn” Community Technology Preview was named 'rcsi.exe'
This rule detects when two different MSI installations, both related to known VPN clients (Pulse Secure, Fortinet, Ivanti, GlobalProtect), occur on the same device within a short timeframe. This could indicate an attempt to establish redundant access, bypass security controls, or an unusual administrative activity.
This rule detects the execution of 'node' with 'install' and 'openclaw' in its command line, or any process command line containing 'https://openclaw.ai/install.'. This indicates an attempt to install or execute the 'openclaw' tool, potentially for malicious purposes or unauthorized software deployment.
Detects the presence of old versions of NetSupport Manager (client32.exe), a tool repurposed as a RAT by the Bloody Wolf threat actor. The actor is known to use versions from October 2013 or older. This rule specifically looks for 'client32.exe' with the file description 'NetSupport Client' and a FileVersion older than '12.0.0.0'.
This rule identifies and summarizes the usage of various Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools across an environment. It correlates process execution events (based on executable and process names) and network connection events (based on remote URLs/domains) with a predefined list of known RMM tools. The output provides a count of unique devices using each RMM tool, grouped by machine group, allowing for an overview of RMM tool prevalence and distribution.
Detects indicators associated with a supply chain attack compromising popular NPM packages like 'chalk' and 'debug'. The rule identifies network connections to known malicious domains and command-line activity related to the installation of compromised packages.
Detects the execution of Radmin which can be abused by an adversary to remotely control Windows machines
This detection identifies when a new packaged application has been added, updated, or deleted within Microsoft Intune. This functionality, while legitimate for software deployment, can be abused by adversaries to deploy malicious payloads to Intune-managed devices.

'This detection highlights executables deployed to hosts via either the Default Domain or Default Domain Controller Policies. These policies apply to all hosts or Domain Controllers and best practice is that these policies should not be used for deployment of files.
A threat actor may use these policies to deploy files or scripts to all hosts in a domain.
This query uses the ASIM parsers and will need them deployed before usage - https://docs.microsoft.com/azure/sentinel/normalization'

'Beyond your internal software management systems, it is possible you may not have visibility into your entire footprint of SolarWinds installations. This is intended to help use process exection information to discovery any systems that have SolarWinds processes'
This detection identifies when a new Microsoft Intune device management configuration policy has been created. Intune device management configuration policies are used by administrators to remotely manage policies and settings on Intune-managed devices. This functionality can be abused by adversaries to disable defenses and evade detection.
This detection identifies when a new Microsoft Intune device health script has been added, updated, or deleted. Intune device remediation scripts can be used by administrators for remote device management, but this functionality can also be abused for SYSTEM-level code execution and lateral movement to Intune-managed devices.
This detection identifies when an administrator manually triggers device management configuration policy sync events, on-demand remediation scripts, or remotely restarts devices within Microsoft Intune. While this functionality can be used legitimately to expedite policy delivery, it can also be abused by an attacker to quickly deploy malicious payloads or disrupt systems.
Detects the execution of the PDQ Deploy Console, which is a remote administration tool. This rule identifies the creation of processes associated with the PDQ Deploy Console based on its description, product name, company, or original file name. This tool can be used for legitimate software deployment but can also be leveraged by adversaries for execution and lateral movement.
Detects the execution of the Radmin Viewer utility, which is a legitimate remote administration tool that can be leveraged by adversaries for remote control and lateral movement within a Windows environment.
